Paula Maggs lives in Melbourne and has been an artist for over twenty years. She uses colour and expressive mark making to realize her emotive, poetic style.
Maggs ouevre includes expressionist portraits and symbolic landscapes.
Her intuitive process is to work on multiple paintings at once, splashing and hurling paint across canvases in a bodily expulsion of intense emotion.
Maggs is Currently completing a Master of Fine Art at RMIT. She has exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions, and her work is in private collections both in Australia and overseas.
